2004 Chardonnay Bacchus Vineyard

French oak is used exclusively and these barrels provide an environment that promotes harmony and finesse. Partial-malolactic fermentation produces a better acid profile in the finished wine. Their goal with this varietal is to show impeccable balance of fruit, oak, and acidity, with underlying hints of fresh cream and butter. This vintage seems to dance on the palate leaving a smooth luxurious finish. Family favorites include King salmon, crab cakes, chicken or veal, and dishes using cream sauce. $17.99
